Need to Improve

My mother had a savings account for past ten years with this bank at K.K.Nagar branch, Chennai.After a long gap she wanted to deposit a amount to her account, but they asked so many proofs and takes almost a week to complete.Now she changed her account to another bank and I need to go there with her in often and want to share my views about this bank.


Indian Bank has enough branches in all over India, but the ATMs are less in number when compare to other banks.The employees of the bank were too lazy especially in K.K.Nagar branch they speaking in the phone with the relatives and not at all responding to our issues.And also they do not resolve or response our clarifications over phone.and ask us to visit the branch.


It was so difficult to open a savings account with them.Internet banking is slow and takes more time to transfer a fund.Toll free numbers were never be picked and most of the time the services would be down.


I feel they have to improvise their service in all the ways and means.And also I think the Private banks were excellent in providing their services soon in a effective manner.
