India Coffee House is a well known name. It is supposed to be a venerable Bangalore institution, purportedly serving the best of India’s coffees made of the best beans, the finest roasting and perfect extraction.
HUMBUG! HUMBUG! and more HUMBUG!
What we were served in the garb of "Coffee" can best be described as dilute ditch water. The disappointment was all the greater in view of the extra effort we put in to locate ICH in its new premises on Church Street. The tomato omelette sandwich was also nothing to write home about, being of less than average standards.
Understandably, making good coffee is a fine art - which completely eludes India Coffee House. It is difficult to comprehend how a simple preparation like a tomato omelette sandwich can go wrong.My heartfelt recommendation is do not waste your time at India Coffee House if a good cup of coffee is what you seek.
