Well, I think everyone has to agree with me if I say the performance of our team has really improved since a few months .....although one of the exceptions is the loss of the ODI series against Windies.But I guess its all part of the game and we also had a couple of our main and responsible players but I think over all, it wasnt too bad, was it?
We have got quite a few new stars coming up....i guess they have already made their mark! Yes! I m talking bout Kaif and Yuvi ......arent they just great??.....their strokes, their athletism, their confidence........dont their qualities impress us?They certainly do!
Well, what bout Bangar??? didnt he surprise us by his totally contrasting batting in the ODIs than the test matches?? HE certainly did, and I think hes really gonna be useful at SA for the world cup coz they pitches would be on the slower side....SO he is certainly what the Indian team was looking for!
Even Kartik was good for a couple of matches but I think things just didnt work out for him in the crunch match, the match which really did count! But I guess he has the talent and he surely is a good prospective for India!
Now as Tendulkars back we are surely looking for some master play..didnt we miss him in the ODIs? U little master.....we surely did! I guess even Ganguly was missed in the finals when we needed some one responsible to hold on........Gangulys lofted shots .....they are just great in the first 15 overs.
How bout our SehwaG?? viru as they call him.....he can tear the opposition apart if he really gets going. We also missed Harbhajan whoz been our strike bowler.
But the good thing is now they are all back.....and dont we people fancy our chances for the world cup?? We certainly do!
I guess India needs improvements in certain areas though. I could say Indian bowling seriously needs to think bout some strategies to pick up wickets in the early overs or else they just tear our bowling apart!Also, india should learn how to cope up with pressure and not loose it easily.....Our batsmen should make their wickets count! I guess Sehwag should bat more sensibly after slogging in the first 15 overs and play long innings.Also our fielding, I know it has improved a lot.....but we need more commitments from few old chaps as well! They have been really sloppy at times!They should learn to tackle the pressure and not just give up!
DONT SAY DIE TILL U DIE....this should be the attitude of our team!
I am extremely pleased with the way the indian team has gone.....But I think the selectors should persevere with the young talent and give them opportunities rather than giving them chance for a match and kicking them off! They should first of all know to realise that there is some talent in the player and then should give him chances and make him confident about his place in the side because our players nowadays are much tensed bout their place in the side and a few seem like they are playing just for a place!
But over all, I think the Indian cricket has gone a lot better.....Keep it up guys! I guess we have a hell lotta chance of winning the world cup if the team just works a lit bit more!
