I am using this book from 2 years and no doubt this book is very much helpful. Generally all economics professors refer this book because it covers most of the topics of Indian economy. I found it worth it to its price. It starts with simplicity and goes to deeper descriptions. The author Ramesh Singh has put all the mandatory knowledge required for higher studies either for b.com. , b.a. economics or for UPSC examination. Extra informative knowledge is also given in side columns and important concepts are highlighted in dark black colour. This book includes updated data and terminologies are also focused so that students can give more attention to it. I would like to say that there is no any other book which is more sorted, analysed and useful reference than Indian economy by Ramesh Singh.
