Saturday, April 22nd- The grand finale of Indian Idol-2. Quite a extragavent evening, as well as emmotional with all the performances. The evening kicked-off with Sandeep Acharya and N.C Karunya singing R.D Burman songs. Even at the last moments Karunya continued to prove that there is no better than him. I’m sure many would agree after hearing his Rind Posh Mal.
Through the finale N.C. Karunya amazed audience by singing Yeh Jawani, Mehbooba Mehbooba, Yamma Yamma (carried out by both contestants to end the R.D burman medley), Rind Posh Mal, Badan pe Sitare, Sayoni, Subhaan Allah (also carried out by the both of them along with Kajol), One Love and lastly Baat Baki.
Sandeep Acharya sang Tum Kya Jaano, Dil Dena Khel Hai, Yamma Yamma, Sitaron Ki Mehfil, Kaho Na Pyar Hai, Gulabi Aankhen, Ho Gayi Teri Balle, Subhaan Allah, Ruk Ja and Tumse Milke Dil Ka.
Overall if we were to average out the performances than Karunya was better.

-Alisha Chinai’s ’’Kajra Re’’ along with Sandeep and Karunya
-Isha Koppikar peforming with Karunya and Sandeep
The evening proceeded along well but when time came for the results I guess the results were somewhat predictable. Karunya is a way better singer than Sandeep but Sandeeps good looks were what helped him in acheiving the title. Good Wishes to the both of them and Congratulations to Sandeep.
