The panel of juges chosen is good because there is singer , music director and a choreographer to judge the x factor of the participants.
AUDITIONS: The auditions conducted in cities across India had received overwhelming response from the people.Many got a chance to enter into the second round to go to mumbai. The ones who did not get the chance are rejected because they did not satisfy the judges. In mumbai there was a theatre round in which the judges filtered the participants from a large number to a fantastic thirty.
The judgement was based on the participants singing capability , voice and his or her x factor. The thirty were allowed to perform in batches and the indian people were asked to vote them and choose the final twelve of which one is going to be the Indian idol. The platform is set and the twelve are allowed to perform for twelve weeks.
The people are invited to vote and the contestant who gets the least no of votes is eliminated each week. There is a surprise visit of a celebrity every week to the show and that makes it unique. Hosting by Aman and Mini has really added some extra spice to the show. The contestants were given a theme every week and they have to give their best shot .The judges will give their comments on the contestants performances.
DRAWBACK: The main draw back that I personally feel and may be one of you had felt is the judgement by the people.Of the final twelve the people eliminated one contestant each week.I think this was not the best of judging the contestants.
The people are giving their votes just based on the contestants state , city etc. I can prove it if you can remember the contestant ’’Ravinder Ravi’’ he had sung the worst in the first five weeks and he was not eliminated and the contestant ’’Rahul Saxena’’ who till now did not receive one bad comment from the judges just got eliminated and this was the worst of the show.
I think the judgement which must be made to eliminate the contestants must be given 50% to the judges and the rest to the people to vote.By this the justice can be done to the contestants.
