For the second time this year, IIT Kharagpur was rated 1st among all the IITs this year. As a KGPian, I’ll want to make some things clear to those reading this JLT and those actually serious about choosing their careers right now.
LAN and internet- This has changed the face of KGP. An year back, Junta would run back home during hols. Now 30% actually came a week/fortnight back coz they missed the net. Your life will never be the same
Freedom - Go to IIT Mumbai..There’ll be crowds on Bikes with Nike’s and their UCB Tees. Come to KGP...and do what u want..stirde out in ur pajamas, wake up at 3 pm and sleep at 8am...it all depends on you.
Stuff to do- Too many things go on at any time of the year for u to feel bored or cut off.Dramatics, Music, Literary, Dance....EVERYTHING !! You can sit in ur room and maaro mugga (study) for all 4 yrs..But if u really want to live KGP...just step out.
