University is above average but not so poor. Faculties are good but not enough in number. University have placement issues because it’s not like other Private College which gurantee paid placement. So eventually it takes times for placement but instiute is honestly not good for DNS CADETS. Curriculm is good because most of Toppers of University emerges from Goverment colleges under this university.
But it will be helpul to Indian Maritime Industry if old style of running the Institutes is restored. So placement wise it is not very reliable but quality of education is good. So before joining ensure you have some link in Shipping Industry for backup.
