Couple of weeks back, we connected a new cylinder. since then there was abnormal smell of LPG in the house & which was severe in the kitchen.
The smell was felt even if regulator was switched off. We telephoned our distributor for complaint registration but they never picked up phone.
We were unable to understand the cause of the abnormal smell of cylinder and are worried since smelling the gas for long hours cannot be good for health. I registered the complaint with Indianoil directly at https:// spandan.indianoil.co.in hoping that the matter will be taken up sincerely and earnestly. However a week passed and while tracking the complaint the website kept on showing "Matter taken up to resolve the same"
I again had to approach the distributor physically post which the mechanic visited and the issue was with the washer of the cylinder because of which gas leakage was happening all these days. I wonder what sort of an insensitive company is Indianoil and its LPG brand Indane. What’s the use of maintaining a complaint registration site when no action is taken in response to the complaints lodged.
