Although they advertise as centralized banking, for every small thing, they ask me to go to the branch that I opened my account with. The problem is that the nearest IOB is 5 minutes away while the branch with my account is 15 km away.
Even for a simple certificate that I have a savings bank with IOB, the bank staff tell me to go 15 km away just because I dont have an account with the branch. I mean, what is the use of centralized banking if the staff remains arrogant and cannot issue a simple certificate? This has the worst customer service I have ever seen and the system is primitive and never modernized.
Stay away from the bank.
