Indian Bank and Indian Overseas Banks are founded by Chettiars. Chettiars’ slogan is customers’ satisfaction - Business - Profit.
Though Indian Overseas Bank is nationalised and owned by Government of India almost all of the officials and staff members follow the Chettiars’ formula and very cordial with their customers.
There is a talk among business people and general public that who ever may bank with IOB they will only come up in life.
All of our family members, where ever they may be i.e. in India or abroad, maintain their accounts in IOB only. We enjoy very good customer service.
I understand that IOB Employees’ union periodically advises their members the importance of the Bank and CUSTOMER SERVICE. I do not think that except IOB union no trade union advice their employees the importance of their institution and their customers.
