A golden day in Indian Space History

Hi Guys & Gals,

18th April, 2001 would be remembered as the day when ISRO achieved 1 more feat to its already achieved previous feats. It would be added to the Indian history books as the day when India joined a select club of world nations capable of launching their own and other nations satellites.

The GSLV was successfully launched on these day at 3:23PM IST from the coast of Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.Despite USA’s best efforts that we don’t achieve these feat, our scientists have once again proved that they can overcome the stiffest of challenges in the stiffest of conditions. Dr.Vikram Sarabhai’s dream of a self reliant Indian Space Program has been achieved.Would he been here today , he would have been overjoyed by his scientists great achievement.

The GSLV launched satellites is a $20billion a year business and we are ready with a bang to get a slice of that.Beware USA the space dynamo of India is coming to your doorsteps.

Common friends, lets join hands to congratulate the ISRO scientists at these amazing feat and hoping that they continue their good work in the future.
