It’s not a chance by me to bash up ISRO just b’cos Chandrayaan has just failed.
> If we document all the media briefs of ISRO chief from start of the project till end, there are enormous inconsistencies and anamolies. For instance, on the day of succesful launch Chief said ISRO’s success is reply to "technology denial regimes", after the reported failure, he exhorts that NASA, European Space Agency is also stake holders in the project.
> Chandrayaan was result of US lifting curbs on high tech transfer which happened after Pokhran-II, to start with US university John Hopkins University would tie up with ISRO transfer knowledge and technology for a moon study satellite, John Hopkins would put High Resolution Moon Mineral Mapper, high resolution camera, India would share the cost of launch, rocket etc etc. But the way ISRO is claiming success it appears everything was done here in India. It’s shame that ISRO is trying to take little success to stupid level.
> Why there was celeberation on succesful launch, logically it should have been on last day of succesful moon mission.
> ISRO media brief says "Mission aborted, objectives met", after a week a US Scientists questions the success of Chandrayaan.
> To divert public condenation, ISRO made success out of nothing abd went on to even declare next mission, and even manned mission to moon.
Why moon mission ? We are not able to provide ID cards to all Indians till date !! We are not able to count our population correctly !! We are not able to control population !! We are not able to share wealth equally !!
We are not able to feed entire population !! We are not able to produce a complete Indian car/Indian Bike till date !! Let India provide goods to it’s people first, then let it share it’s wealth with other nations if needed, then we can think of fascinating gettting minerals and water from moon !!!!
Moon missions by US and USSR were done to show off during cold war, there has been no useful research done on moon, what is ISRO going to do with minerals found on moon ? What is ISRO going to do with high resolution pictures ? What is the real objective ? (John Hopkins University’s moon mapper had only academic goals, shameless ISRO is snatching little work achieved by John Hopkins University and claiming it has it;s OWN success !!
It’s high time the tax money is used for good purpose and not such exhorbitant/meaningless projects that is actually benefitting the stake holder !!! I hope some law makers find the truth about ISRO and hype around it and closes it down ASAP.
