I have been to the place of South Bend in Indiana. South Bend is about 2 hours drive from Chicago. You need to land at OHare International Airport to travel to South Bend.
I have been to this place during the summer vacation ie. May/June.
Indiana is a very popular state in the USA with Chicago being one of the largest city. The OHare airport is one of the busiest airport in the world and Chicago boasts of some of the tallest buildings in the world. Sears Tower was the tallest building for a long time. Chicago also has a large Indian population.
South Bend the place where I stayed is a small city and it is popular for the Notre Dame University the seat of learning.
One of the greatness of USA is that if you have visited one place you have seen all. There is so much uniformity all across the USA such as the excellent expressways, shopping malls, houses, farms etc.
The drive from Chicago to South Bend on the expressway is a pleasant experience. No signals, no crossing you can drive non-stop.
It was a good holiday that I had.
