I discovered indiaprenting in the process of a random search on google, when I was in my 4th month of an unplanned and difficult pregnancy. And its got me hooked ever since.
I had a little trouble during my pregnancy (got a bout of jaundice followed by a weak foetal heartbeat) and juggling all that with work was a monumental task. But through Indiaprenting, I began to communicate with other’s in a similar situation. I got extremely beneficial tips from many women accross the world. Also the message boards on Indiaparenting are very easy to access.
The website also helps you keep track of the monthly changes in your body and that of your unborn baby (your gynaec would tell you that as well, but its nice to see graphic images of the changes at your leisure).
The website is also an excellent resource for baby names... it sure helped me decide on my baby’s name! The baby name poll section is also fun as it lets your family and friends across the globe help you short-list names. The home page also has some intersting articles on grooming, parenting etc.
The only drawback of the website is that the message boards are not very well regulated. They have sections on extra-marital affairs and love etc which are full of trash. I wish they’d stick to parenting isues.
but all-in-all a good website... definitely worth browsing through if you’re a parent or expectant parent.
