It is one of the many email services available on the net, and the few services which have a email server in India. The email server is located in India , that means faster connection..same speed you get by connecting to rediff.com email service.. You get a good 6 MB limit..which was 10 MB before..and this can reduce later..so dont go by the limit. The features in Indiatimes email account are many...multi forward , autoresponder , filters..you can say no other web based email service has so many features. So thats a very good thing. But once upon a time indiatimes email was shut down for almost a week...well email services cant shut down for even 2 hours and indiatimes was almost down for a week..for maintenance... overall..for this reason I do not recommend this service..try some other one. features are easy to provide..but u need to maintain them..as they cause server overloads..
Recently indiatimes wiped out people’s mailboxes when they reduced their limit from 10 mb to 6 mb. This isnt a email service worth using.
