I placed an order for a microwave oven on indiatimes more than 2 months back. They promptly charged my credit card for Rs. 6500 in just two days. The microwave was supposed be a diwali gift for my parents.
Although new year is now just 2 weeks ahead, my order still has not been completed. On contacting their customer service, they provided useless explanations like ’’there is a shortage of this model of microwave’’. This was not at all expected from indiatimes which I thought would be a professional site owing to the fact that it belongs to the Times groups (one of the most respected groups in india).
Please take my advice and NEVER EVER SHOP ON INDIATIMES.COM If you are so much desperate to spend money, better give it away as a donation to a charity organization as it will atleast serve a noble cause. All online shoppers in India BEWARE!!! Don’t be fooled by sites like Indiatimes shopping.
