Large Scale cheating

I was thinking that it was probably one-off case that I was suffering at the hands of a reputed company like India Today till I went online today & discovered that there were probably thousands like me out there.

The products are poor quality, definitely not worth the MRP they claim and at the maximum deserve the price you pay to India Today after ’huge discounts"; you realize after receiving the products that there’s actually no bargain. I think they have got some special products manufactured by Reebok especially for India Today that carry a huge price tag. The track suit, for example that I bought at a huge discount of 75% doesn’t actually deserve more than what I paid. I can bet no one would buy such a lousy track suit at an MRP of Rs. 3999. The game plan is clear - show exorbitantly high MRPs & offer huge discounts to tempt people to buy.

The gifts they promise seldom come. The ones that come are useless & again not worth all the hassle. You see the qulaity of "free Reebok watch worth Rs. 2599" that you get as a free welcome gift & you realise you could get a better stuff at less than Rs. 200 in the market. So the entire joy of receiving a ’gift’ is gone & you feel cheated.

Shame on you India Today!! I don’t even feel like buying my favourite magazine now & have stopped buying it for more than a month now.
