Readers, if by chance you come across India Today Book Club’s sales representatie call. Please do not entertain them. They will sell you the product for which you have to break your head. Here how is my story.
I got the call from India Today Book Club Phone sales representative. Many promises and many false promises. Many thing hidden. They called me for "Holiday Stay Voucher" . They promised that in round the year upto 5 member of the family can stay in any 5 star hotel in any where in india for 7 days free. and its only 5 thousand only.
Initially I was not interested, but later I thought of buying that. I bought. One broucher came and I came to know that its not from India Times Book club, its from another organization names "Premier Sales Promotions Pvt Ltd., at Bangalore" for which India Today BookClub has marketed. I filled the form, sent to Premier Sales Promotions to receive another voucher which was instructed for availing this facility. But for months there were no reply from them.
When I called recently to them, there pone number has changed. And some how I could reach them. Finally they said they will send the voucher. But when I enquired about the offer. They said its only for 2 Adults and 1 kid below 12 years and also I have to pay all tax, and additional usage cost for the hotel. And dear friends this is not a 5 star hotel. These are average 3 star hotel from some cities.
My suggestion... Please do not buy any thing from India today Book Club. They are taking money. Enjoying interest on that and sending its with delay of more than 2 too 3 months.
