Hope guys /gals u can find one mail from India today book club offers(or bag it today) in your email, never respond to them its same like Nigerian scam. My experience with India today book club
6 months before, I purchased reebok shoes from the website bagittoday.com, ordered actually for one shoes, but there is a trick in there website, if u click the button after entering the credit card details page will become blank or doesn’t move to next page, if your click again still it wont show any thing, so I clicked 4 times and cool my credit card has charged for 4 orders
I have ordered for shoe size no.11, after one month I received a call from blue dart they told me there is 5 shoes for me, I have to pay only for one shoes and other payment they are not aware.i done payment of rs.2678 to courier person and collected the shoes, I was surprised to see all the shoes was no.8 size
I called up india today book club, they told me to send them back, I received only 2 invoices for 5 shoes, I spoke to one lady she told me to send it back and they are going to send me back the shoes of original size which I ordered.invoice is not a big deal, she got irritated when I asked her without invoice is it a problem to sending back after a week, I received call from professional courier Mumbai from where I send shoes back to India today group Delhi, I was shocked to know that they send it back because there is no invoice, so they need a letter stating that there is no invoice also need a email conversation details with India today group
I have send it again to different address, and waited for 2 months, whenever I call or email them they will tell we are going to send in 15 days, after that I got annoyed and told them to cancel the order, after cancelling order iam waiting for 2 months to get my money back. Everytime when I contact customer care they assure to credit money in my credit card account in 15 days. I have all the proof of documents and all the details, will be soon approaching to consumer court--money is not a great deal but cheating cannot be tolerated
Also appeal all the people who got cheated inform their friend and family members to order n number of products from India today and bag it today website as cash on delivery method and cancel the order when they receive the call from courier company. Let India today company bear loss. Or make a group and file case against this fraud.
Worst fraud than Nigerian scam.
