This is an irritating fact about Indigos ticketing. Its funny that the passenger himself, either on phone, on the web, or in person at the airport - CANNOT - reschedule his own reservation (prepone, postpone) unless he instructs the travel agency who did it.
Isnt it he himself who identifies himself, pays the difference and travels?!
And what about services on time as the ad is blaring?
Is it an airlines run for passengers or agencies?
Are they saying that they refuse to accept changes in itinerary for the business traveller?
They even beat Indian Airlines - who allows these changes on phone and even accepts the fare difference at the ticket window - 2 hours prior to departure, with a nominal rescheduling charge of INR 500.
Imagine being at the airport and wanting extend a business meeting at a hotel nearby. You could be there in flesh and blood, rejecting all technology, at say 8 pm. They only will accept the travel agency intimation. You could identify yourself. You could want to pay.
Sometimes you dont even know who the bloddy agency is? Your office admin guy handling the travel desk has left and the travel agency has shut shop. You have to tell your clients to bugger off, because Indigo wants you to travel - on time.
