Indigo has been my choice of airlines for domestic flights for about two years now. I am very impressed with their services that have given me no chance to complain. A journalism student in Delhi, my family is based in Mumbai and I end up frequently flying to my hometown to meet everyone.
So far, I have chosen only Indigo for all flights to and fro, for a number of reasons. The one that tops them all is the low airfare. Indigo offers the cheapest journey tickets according to my knowledge. With airfares rocketing every other day, this becomes incredibly light on our pockets.
The second is the ease and flawlessness in reservation. I am yet to encounter any problem with that. I generally choose online bookings because of the obvious convenience and it has always been very reliable in the case of Indigo.
Apart from these, the one thing that I had heard the airline is touted for was its impeccable punctuality.
Having flown plenty of domestic flight earlier in other airlines, I was pretty skeptical about this claim. But Indigo has been very abiding to their schedule every time that I flew from Delhi to Mumbai and back again.
The take-off and landing times have never suffered any delay, making me quite confident about planning my day ahead of my arrival. The in-flight services are very delightful. The air-hostesses are very helpful and courteous, the seats comfortable and the meals, for the mount one pays, are quite wholesome. Indigo is a bankable and efficient domestic airline.
