I wish to narrate my experience with Indigo. I had a Indigo flight to catch from Bangalore to Chennai at 6.30 p.m on a day. I reached the airline counter at Bangalore airport by 5.53 p.m. I was told that the counter is closed. I could not understand. I told them we have 37 minutes still to spare. The boarding gate closes just 20 or 25 minutes to spare. But they said they cannot do anything but they closed everything. They did not have another flight and hence I had no choice but to walk over to spicejet and pay again another price for a ticket before taking a Spicejet flight back home.
Consider how insanely people they are! If asked they say, we maintain Indigo Standard time. Any company or Organization that is not in sync with the society must gradually sink. If they dont care about a customers travel but are more concerned about their process of closing the counter 45 minutes before scheduled time, then I dont need such an airline. Although my mobile number was clearly mentioned while booking the ticket, I never received any call. It was due to a bad traffic in Bangalore that I lost by 8 minutes. Still closing a gate just to maintain a process doesnt make sense.
I vowed that I will never travel by Indigo again. I am maintaining that till today and using Jet Airways since then for my domestic and international travels.
