I travel by Indigo very often lets says once in Two weeks and mostly between Bangalore and Hyderabad sector. The only reason I take this airline because it a great surety that it will take off and land on time, But wait what about everything else...HUMMMMM BORING and pretentious.
Indigo feels more like a very well know European Airline I know and traveled. It constantly have shades of that most boring European Airline Giant which is clean always departs and arrive on time and yet its no fun to fly ...i wonder why? Indigo Plane Staff looks like crew out of 70s airline industry minus the Fun and the Charm, of course they run on time since they do not even offer water to their passengers which is very non- India or Asian way of operating.
I feel an Indian Flight and Journey needs to be more fun and we need to feel more pampered. We sometimes love to hear that the flight is going to be delayed ...it adds little mystery to our travel and of course a good excuse to take 2 meetings in a day instead of 3 if third one was waste of your time. We love it when Stewarts ask us what you will like to have for lunch of dinner no matter if actually there was no choice in the first place. What matter is I have been made feel important and pampered and thats the reason I have now shifted my loyalties to Air India Domestic ..the reasons are fairly very simple.
1> You mostly get Airport air bridges to enter the Airport ...no more frustrating buses and long trip to airport which is mostly in the case of Indigo
2> Amazing food and pampering
3> Mostly on time
4> LEG SPACE - WOW...they actually have space for legs...Indigo forgot about tall people and they expected us to fold it and keep it with ourselves
In a nutshell - Indigo you are Boring and suck at customer service...and your big ego boost of always landing on time of ahead time stated to sound like only you and your flight crew are taking the flight...what about us your passengers...we need something more than that. If you want to be European then please do but your customers are Asians.
Of course you are a Budget Airline so figure out better way to make your customer feel pampered. And yes please stop using of referring your in flight magazine as SEX XY or Six 6 it is such a cliche. And what the hell stop printing those Losers photograph on your Mag...What was your marketing Guy Thinking??
