I travelled from Bengaluru to Mumbai on 8th March evening by 6E566. The flight was delayed by more than two hours, and there was no intimation on the delay before I reached the airport.
As if the delay was not enough, when I reached home after midnight, I discovered that my checked in baggage has been damaged. It was cracked right along the length and is beyond repair or reuse. This can happen only if something extremely heavy is dropped directly onto the case.
I took some photographs(attached) and emailed them to Indigo customer relationship, with details of my travel. No, I was not expecting a compensation. All I wanted was an acknowledgement and an assurance that the matter will be looked into.
However, I dont know if it is a generic problem with Indigo or a problem of attitude of the customer relationship executive, all he could do is throw a rule book at me and say that since I did not complaint about it at the airport, it is assumed that the bag was delivered in perfect condition to me. He did this, not once, not twice, but thrice!
I guess success has gone to their head! Would prefer to travel other airline from now on!
