Most unprofessional and unfriendly

I had booked a ticket, reference no.  X33BWR with a confirmed seat 15A, for 27th Dec, 7.20pm flight from Bangalore to Chennai. The passenger was at the counter much before the end of issue of boarding pass. But the person at the counter flatly and for no apparent reason refused to issue boarding pass saying counter was closed. Though there was no check-in luggage, they were absolutely not willing to even speak to the passenger.


This was when it was critical for the passenger to be in Chennai the next morning. And there were no other reasons for them to do so except say counter closed when it clearly says on the  ticket that boarding passes issual ends 45 min prior to flight departure. Now who do we address this issue to? Is that because yours is a budget airline and you can call the shots whichever way you can?


And the ground staff too was so discourteous instead of helping the passenger get on to the flight waato just coldly indifferent. We finally had to book a ticket in another airline paying 4 times the previous ticket charge! Why do you even have your airline rules when you yourselves fail to follow it. Am sure the flight was overbooked by you and so  found an easy way to make revenue from cancelling a confirmed ticket and also charge for an additional ticket from another unsuspecting passenger. I seriously was very unhappy and disappointed. More so because it was none of the passenger’s fault. I am in the process of getting the relevant details to file a complaint with the consumer court for the trauma and expense incurred.


If the above incident was about their weird counter behaviour, just two days ago, my family was travelling to Pune and was booked on their 9.30 pm flight on  Friday, Dec 25th. The flight had one advancing of departure to 8.30pm. And shockingly in a span of a a few hours before departure, managed to delay the flight thrice. Once to 9.30pm, and then to 10pm, and 10.25pm and finally 11 and the flight took off only at 11.25pm! Whatever happened to their punctuality and*y promptness? The family with a small kid reached home only at 1.30am! Now who will ever redress these grievances? Am sure its going to just get worse. Sad state of affairs of the airline and it was my family that suffered.
