I booked a flight ticket for my nephews family(of four) from Hyderabad to Chennai. The flight was on Dec 29, 2014. The PNR was O651JP.
On Dec 28, I paid a further sum of Rupees.600/ for allotment of specific seats(No. 6a and 7a) for two of the pax covered by the passage.
When the ticket was presented at Hyderabad airport counter, Indigo airlines REFUSED to honour its commitment and assigned some other seats to my nephews family-despite presenting producing email confirmation of the sale of the seats on receipt of consideration.
The two passengers who were first time fliers and looking forward to enjoy the scene from the window seats were greatly disappointed.
Assigning seats in an aircraft is not a very complicated matter; and in this seemingly easier task, the goof up of Indigo airlines appears too conspicuous.
Havent I lost my confidence on Indigo?
PS: I keep my fingers crossed about refund of the amount of INR 600/ by Indigo.
