After travelling from abroad with appropriate baggage allowance , I was charged penalty for extra luggage @ rate of 200/- per kg in domestic through Indigo.
Gap between my international arrival and domestic departure was only 3 hrs. Me an old women travelling alone. Don’t know this Indigo people have brains or not that passengers coming after International flight will have baggage as per international allowance.
Every flight has waiver for baggage for passengers in transit who have travelled international within 24 hrs . But I was treated so rudely and charged 5600/- in spite of showing boarding pass of Qatar airway , Looks like Indigo is planning to make money in this way. When called up customer care. I was told that international baggage is allowed when travelling domestic from Delhi but it will be charged when travelling from Bangalore as they are two diff segments. I have no clue what is Indigo up to ...
So my recommendation, never book Indigo if travelling to or fro international.
