I had a booking with booking ID XFB9VJ from indigo for a travel from Pune to Cochin on 25th August. Due to air port closure at kochi I need connection flight from pune to bangalore( flight no 6E 221) to be on time. When Bangalore to Cochin flight 6E7223 came to my phone I requested them over phone to check a flight from pune to trivandrum which departs early. Indigo told sector change not available. I went to airport for a flight of 23 hours I checked in. Two flights to bangalore was there where in requested I will not able to catch the flight since my flight to bangalore 6E 221 is showing 20 mts late. Customer care of indigo told, sir dont worry, my flight will be on time maximum 20 mts late. Twice they rejected my request. Surprised to see flight delay increased to 1 hour and later on 2 hours. Mathew of Indigo pune incharge told flight will come. Later on people started shouting, and now they say flight is cancelled and next accommodation will be done at 8 am.from pune. I made a big issue and they told for me they will book from pune to hyderabad and then to bangalore and my connection flight to cochin wast at 12 pm instead of 6 am. Even Indigo cheated us to get a ticket from Air asia where tickets were available. Whole trip went mess and my onward plans from cochin all got effected. Coming back to cochin I demanded indigo for a delay compensation since flight is more than 4 hours and even sending communications no reply. I flied with their Appellete authority. Still no response. Now I am planning to put this in cochin consumer court. Why Indigo such reputed airlines not compensating as per IATA rules?
