Excellent place, with great service, all though the liquor is expensive but it is a great place for special weekend partying. Food-well, it isnt for everyone, and has a decidedly european palate which might not find favour with some. Try the mushrooms as well as the fine collection of wines and cigars.
Has two bars, the one below is well lit and has a mammoth collection of liquor lining the back of the bar wall, other assorted coffee and blending machines. The bar above is all black and can be quite fashionably decadent while yet anonymous.
There are similarly two dining areas, one below that is air-conditioned, while the one above is open air and you can see the back of the taj, and smell the warm salty air. Besides of course the general torpidity in the air at times and the quintessential Bombay rain, it can be a great experience with candles, well laid tables and fragrant flowers.
Drinks and dinner for two could be in the 2-3K range easy.
