Indi Joes Bangalore charges an unacceptably high rate of Tax on the food bills. Apart from the 13.5% VAT they also surreptitiously collects another 10 % as Service Charge! Apart from that if are expected to tip the waiters, sum it up and a diner ends up paying nearly 33.5 % TAX !!!!!
When inquired all the Accounts manager could fumble was."That how BJN group works !" forces you to pay a hefty 10% service tax on all bills. I found that quite blasphemous. Moreover the food is nothing extra ordinary. Try grill house or the one in Infantry road near sigma mall (cant remember name now! :( ) or casa picolo.
Decide first are you willing to pay such obnoxious tax amounts and then enter. Best of luck !
