Today I went to Indi Joe’s with a group of friends. Again.
Why? Cos the BJN group has got it right with this one!
The buffet lunch is good for several reasons. The reason you
can take a big bunch of people there is because they serve a good variety of
different cuisines. You can expect some soup to start with, followed by a
lovely salad spread which will have everything from Indian salads to Mexican
roasted brinjal. This is followed by a yummy veg crisp pizza. The main course
typically runs a gamut of tastes – from Indian, to Chinese, Thai and Italian.
So, you have tandoori chicken, and fried rice and Thai green curry with steamed
rice, Spaghetti and baked chicken, a couple of Chinese dishes, Thai chicken
winglets…
The dessert trolley won’t disappoint either. Fresh fruit,
Souffle, cakes, ice creams and kulfi. Suggestion: MUST have the kulfi.its
yum!
The service is good – despite it being a buffet, the staff is
very attentive. The plates are cleared between each round without you even
realizing it.
Rates: Its about 240/- per head after taxes.
The one negative point could be that with all the different kinds
of cuisine, you can tend to mix up the atstes and then wouldn’t like it as
much. But then again, the advantage of it is that in a group everyone likes
something else – so, this solves that problem.
One warning: reach early or else it is practically impossible to get a table! Reach as early as 12:40 to stand a chance.
Ideal for a group with different tastes.
