Hello everyone, IGNOU does not provide engineering courses for lateral entry students, in other words for diploma holder students but in some specific branches such as cse(computer science & engi.), it(information technology), etc. it is only provide engineering for some specific branches eee, mechanical, civil which is sad thing because I m diploma holder with IT branch from delhi polytechnics and I can’t able to do distance b.tech from here because of this. expect it is really good university for distance course’s because it’s an international university in all over the world.
If anyone want to do courses such as b.com, m.com, bsc, bca etc than it’s really good institute because you can easily get good% in it because it takes lots of assignments for each subject which is helpful for increasing your% but not really good for engineering students & in comparison of IGNOU to other universities it is better than other distance university expect DU in India.
