Hello every body.
This actually is a review on a bike trip to Mandav which is a historical site having Palaces , Forts and medieval architectural places.
There were four of us and the trip was planned just 2 days before the actual start on 10th of July. One of my freind Rahul was coming from Gwalior in morning and he didnt knew anything about our plans , but we managed to convince him.
Mandav is situated 100 Kms from Indore. We took the Dhar road and the bikes Pulsar and Fiero FX rolled on. The climate was a little humid and cloudy which was perfect for a bike trip. Within an hour we reached Dhar from their Mandav was only 35 kms far. I interchanged my bike (Fiero) with Shantanu (Pulsar) for the second half.
After reaching Mandav around 1.00 Pm we started looking for a Sasta hotel and we found one named Maharaja Hotel near the main Market. One room for 250 Rs. Took lunch their only and started the sighting. First we visited the the Makbara of Shah which was very close to our hotel.
Nearly every place which is situated in Mandav is detouriating. The main attractions were the Rani Rupmati Mahal , Baaz bahadur Mahal , Jahaj Mahal and the echo point.
Alll in all Mandav is good picnic spot for a days visit but stayed their for a night and did some rock climbing on one of the hills on our way to Indore.
I should say Mandav is small but a very pleasent and beautifull place to visit specialy if u r a history lover.
