From more than a year now Indrayani express takes me on my weekend journey to Pune and Back. Indrayani express is the first train to Pune from Mumbai and hence qualifies as the office goers train. Same from Pune, its the last train from Pune. Indrayani express after leaving mumbai looks like a train with mission and always strives to be on time, every time, hardly any stops at signals since it enjoys priority. The best part of journey for indrayani express, or for that matter any train between Pune and Mumbai, is the Bhor ghat section in which it runs non stop from karjat to lonavala. This train is also a heaven for ticketless travelers. Since its a all reservation train, even if u board with or without a general ticket u have to pay 140 rs. So people take chances without ticket.
TIP: If you r without ticket sit in last luggage bogie ’’cut bogie’’. Didnt see a TC in this bogie even once.
