Worst Customer Service

I have been a customer since Nov’2001 and had taken an overdraft on my NSCs way back in 2005 and had closed the loan in 2007 and got my NSCs back. But the bank never closed my OD account and instead converted it into a Privilege Savings account and started charging me Non Maintenance fees to the tune of Rs 9000. Lastly without my consent they have recovered 7000 from my regular savings account towards this effect. I am going to take them to task if they don’t correct their mistakes.


It’s been 4 weeks since I have escalated the issue as per their Grievance Redressal Policy and I think I will have to escalate eventually to RBI Ombudsman.


I would like to warn folks who are planning to bank with this inefficient bank. Its been pathetic in Banking Operations and Customer Service ever since Ex- ABN Amro Management team took over. God only knows how many customers have been paying the price for the bank’s profits and stock market surge!!!!
