Our Goa vacation this time was dedicated to seeking out the smallest of the smallest and the best of local cuisine which took us to Infantaria for breakfast on the first day since we’d heard so much about the place.
We were mighty disappointed with the cheese and ham omlette+ toast. It’s GOA! Everyone bakes here, the bread tasted like regular wibs bread and ham croissant did not impress either. the prawn rissois, chicken puff was delicious. Needless to say we took all our breakfasts for the rest of our trip elsewhere.
BUT, we’d not given up hope. On our last day in Goa, we decided to try the desserts; chocolate malibu cake and cheesecake brownie. And YES, as exotic as it may sound, it was exactly that delicious!We’re soon going back to Goa to try their seafood too.
Service though was terrible, the waiter refused to take our order forever, but we figured a way around that too.
Overall, I’ve given up on Infantaria for breakfast, they need to innovate and not rest on past laurels.
