One awesome thing about Dan Brown is that, He makes his readers want to go to all the places he so beautifully describes in his books.
It was Paris in the Da Vinci Code, then The Vatican City in Angels and Demons, the DC Capitol Building in The Lost Symbol and now, Florence and Venice! His magic is captivating.
If you’re a previous reader, you would want to love to have that magic continued. And if you’re a newbie in the world of Dan Brown, brace yourself to get thrilled!
Now, here comes the speedbreaker. Dan Brown has put too many stakes on Robert Langdon and the chases across various Churches, Cathedrals with a pretty-smart-outwitting woman by his side, this has now become slightly redundant. Though, the magic he weaves over his readers does not fail to impress us, with magnanimous descriptions in depth of Dante’s works and Botticelli’s paintings, and also given the fact that the last Robert Langdon book was released in 2009, (The lost symbol), it was good to see the new novel with inspiring art and litereature of the 13th century by Dante and Botticelli, intertwined with almost break neck pacing chase, at some point of time, the reader might just want to give some rest to the book and pick it up again. Just to absorb the sheer descriptions and the beauty of the subjects, he takes his reader to.
With an interesting subject and blending it with modern science, Dan brown produced an interesting read!
