Cinematic drudge

The third installment in the rather beloved franchise fails to deliver the finesse of its predecessors, and the shoddy and the evidently pretentious acting will make one cringe. The lack luster creation of the plot which differs from the plot of the ingenious novel fails to deliver the strong message that the novel had - overpopulation and the cure. While seemingly altering its novel counterpart, cropping out the history and art lessons of Professor Langdon, the movie does no justice to his character. The movie is mostly filled with chase scenes which defeats the rather small portion of’puzzle solving’ and reduces its appeal to a minimum. The movie is fast paced, which does not go well with the particular genre, and one simply is not immersed in the world of Professor Langdon. The ending is also disappointing, as the the outcome could’ve been predicted from the very beginning. Hans Zimmer’s soundtrack surprisingly seems unimaginative and dull as well.
