Placed an order # 13186958 with a cheat e-com company Infibeam, they gave a discount of INR 250 on using Standard Chartered Credit card on 2 electronic devices ordered. The order was divided into 2 parts with a shipment date promised as June 16.
This suborder of Portable Power Bank was not delivered even after 2 weeks of order placing, there were regular mails sent and everytime, Infibeam’s unprofessional team kept giving one excuse or the other. Also, the executive at their end kept on changing. Finally they asked me to cancel the order as they were not having the product with them.
They are just trying to match the pace of Flipkart & Amazon and simply putting everything on their website, but genuinely they don’e even have access to the entire range of products they are showcasing just to show that they are a value organization. I warn buyers not to go ahead and buy products from Infibeam, because they will cheat you on your money and destroy all your plannings by not sending the product. I can say that they have lots of ghost products which in reality are non-existent with them.
Please spend you time and money on decent e-com websites like Flipkart, Snapdeal or Amazon. Further once you are left with no option they will push you for order cancellation, at that time all your plannings are haywired, you will give your consent to refund of money. In that scenario these cheats will charge a premium on already offered discounts. Please have a look at the amount calculation in the order screenshot page, the final figure after deduction if discount is no where mathematically correct. The refund amount will not appear in your account even after one month as the case with me.
I additionally ordered this travel adapter as shown in the picture here, once it was delivered I checked it and found that there are no power points as shown in front of device and the product delivered which was a look alike of shown product has only USB port chargers in front. On checking with these fraudsters, I was told that you din’t responded to us about the problem with the product in 6 days time, you are required to contact the manufacturer directly. Now this is height of neglecting your customers. Where on earth I will find the manufacturer of the product when I bought it from Infibeam. I wrote many mails to them and never got an update from them, they responded in last week of June that they will do something about this, but that thing never happened. Now they are not even responding to my mails. Word of caution again, please do not buy the products from Infibeam. Save you time, money and energy which these unprofessionals wants to waste. They will cheat you on your money and importantly will play with your emotions, as every purchase has some underlying emotions attached to it.
Nothing to discourage Online Shopping, but please be alert and buy only from reputed e-com portals but never from Infibeam.
