My nightmare started when I ordered an micromax bling2 (white) on 3rd aug 2012 having order no- 9148480 which was delivered to me on 9th of Aug. Soon after getting the product I found below mentioned problems-
A white strip was coming on top of the screen.
Battery backup was pathetic, it was only 4-5 hrs in standby.
Phone was automatically getting switched off and was getting on only after reinserting the battery.
Screen became unresponsive while incoming call as it shouldnt be being a touchscreen.
Phone was having scratches as it was used before.
I complained on very same day to customer care no- 07940260260 and asked them to replace the faulty phone with new one as per their 30 days replacement guarantee. I kept calling and was confirmed on 12th of Aug 2012 that itll be picked on next day but no body came to pick the item. They issued a return merchandise authorization (ram) with reference id 5646. The person came on 16th of Aug evening from sanjay nagar ware house (Bangalore) after calling 5-6 times. I was expecting the AWB no from him but strange he didnt give me the same. When i asked for awb no. He gave me the invoice instead of awb no. And told me that its their own logistic department so no need to worry. It will be delivered to the Delhi ware house within two days.
I started calling to the customer care for the confirmation of the receiving from 20th of aug 2012 but got very negative replies. They were also not having the information regarding my item and were telling that they had sent the request to the concerned department. They would get back to me when they will be responded. I was not given any satisfactory answer each and every time.
Today, I was shocked when i got an very irresponsible reply from the customer care. They told me that today, means on 24th Aug 2012, it was sent from Bangalore to Delhi warehouse by blue dart. When i asked that what the item was doing in Bangalore all this while without informing me that i got another irresponsible answer that they were trying to fix the issue here in Bangalore itself.
Now i want the answers from the infibeam management for my below questions:
Why the item was full of faults???
Why it was kept in bangalore for such a long time without informing me???
If you had to do this exercise then why you asked me to pack the phone and paste the delhi ware house address???
When ive returned the phone under your 30 days replacement guarantee, then why are you looking for fixing the problem???
Why your customer care executives dont have the answers for most of my questions and response to my emails after 3 days with no information???
I have wasted more than rs. 500/- in calling your customer care number seeking the update. What is my fault???
When I am going to get the new phone (dead line)???
Ive ordered from your website for saving the time but im wasting all my energy in calling and mailing you people. Its become my daily duty to call twice in a day to your customer care number seeking the update. When is this nightmare going to be over???
