Infibeam should add a tagline next to it "shop with a smile, wait till you die"
I have placed my order on 16th June 2013 with order no 10953398, they were supposed to ship the item by 20th June as per my order page at Infibeam website.
1) Within 1 day of placing order, the item is now out of stock. I thought they had the last piece to ship it to me.
2) Called Customer care on 20th Morning, Rep Name(Kiran) she had no clue, she said, it will be shipped by evening.
3) Called CC in evening, Rep(Alex), it will be shipped in couple of hours.
4) Called CC in the night, Rep(Nassir), he again had no clue, he said it will be shipped in couple of days, wait for few days.
Before ordering, there is big highlight, item will be shipped in 2-3 days... after ordering, it turned out 2+3 days, and still not shipped. Anyways, I asked to cancel my order and he placed me on hold and with 30 seconds, he disconnected the call, I waited for couple of minutes, may be I will get a call back...
Damn no call back..I called again, This time Alex, I repeated my story, and placed the cancellation order and he said, sending the cancellation request to our seniors and within 24-48 hours, they will revert, if they can cancel it or not...What??? I had no choice but to wait on there mercy now...
I will keep you guys posted... as this is the first time I am dealing with InfiBeam, never ever had any issues earlier with any other online portal, be it ebay, Flipkart, or Jabong.
After placing the order I read the reviews about Infibeam, then only I realized what I got myself into, with my own money.This is the most pathetic online site I came across. I would suggest everyone to order anything at your own risk.
I am sure something can be done to stop such online portal who make fake promises and misguide the customers. They are just ruining the online business.Within 24-48 hours if dont get the resolution, then there is no other option then to file a case in consumer court.
