Couldn't have been worse!

My two cents for what it’s worth.....


Trust me when I say this "Infibeam is the worst online shopping portal ever!". And this review is coming from someone who is an online shopping addict and has shopped with almost every online retailer and India and plenty of international online shopping websites as well.


This happened to be my second order with Infibeam which they failed to deliver. I had ordered for a perfume a few months ago which they couldn’t deliver citing lame reasons like the product was out of stock and they weren’t sure if/when they’d get it again.


Since this perfume is extremely difficult to find in India (the production of the same has been discontinued) and I happened to see that Infibeam delivers this only in U.S. I decided to take a chance with these guys again thinking that maybe, just maybe the service in U.S. will be better It is pertinent to mention it here that they don’t deliver this in India but so in the U.S. I had a friend visiting from U.S. so that I placed the order for 2 bottle of this fragrance and specifically requested Infibeam to update me on the shipping details and also gave them clear deadline for the delivery.


My worst fear came true when I saw my order status was stagnant in my order history for over a week. It was long past the promised shipment date (please note that this product is shipped from India to the U.S. but can’t be delivered within India due to some reason which was unknown even to the Infibeam contact who I happened to speak on the phone with!)


I would have sent them over a dozen e-mails and called them close to fifty times but they have been unresponsive as ever. They do not even acknowledge the e-mails, let alone action the request. They sent me a couple of generic replies such as the one pasted below:


"Dear customer,


Thank you for writing to us. I really apologize for the inconvenience this had caused you.


We are in process of sorting the complain that you registered with us. Please give us a little more time for an update.


Hope for your cooperation.


Please feel free to get back to us in case of any further queries or question. We will be glad to assist you. You can also call 079-40260260 ( Our 24*7 online phone support) for instant help on this case.

My friend left for India on May 1 and despite multiple requests to Infibeam to cancel my order and process the refund, I’m yet to hear from them.


Please don’t shop with them. Online shopping is supposed to make our lives easier, click click click and you’re done shopping and paying for it. But with website like Infibeam where the support is zilch, it’s impossible to have your peace of mind once you’ve spent your hard earned money. I’m exasperated with all the chasing around and wish that I hadn’t shopped with them. Please pay heed to all these reviews before choosing to shop with them. I paid a huge price (yes, it comes with a price tag!) and am regretting it......
