Reluctant in refunding a damaged product

I ordered for a Padmini Kitchen Chimney on 10th Dec, 2014(Order no 14044469) and received the same after 20 days. Since the delivery address was a small city, I do understand the delay in their service. However, despite being requesting them for a good packaging, the packaging done was very inferior.


The result was obvious, I received an utterly damaged product. I immediately contacted them and cooperated them with utmost promptness to get the product returned. But they did not show any promptness. A month passed by and meanwhile I had to change my location also.


Now, neither they are allowing me send the product of my own nor they are picking it. I even gave them an option that I myself can make the product available in the previous location where it was delivered. They are just giving excuses and not protracting the dates. I made a number of calls and sent a couple of mails, but nothing worked. It’s my hard earned money and I choose not to waste it(or even making it idle for so long).


Jago garahak jago! Either they fulfill what they promise or they have to bear the consequences- be it the curtailing of their customer base or legal consequence.
