I ordered a tablet and got an item that is not even booting after 2-3 days. Contacted infibeam and the Madam who attends phone there asked me not to send back but rather go for manufacturer warranty!(It is absolutely against Indian Consumer Laws. They have to replace it. I will ensure that through consumer forum if it is not resolved) I said this is unfair. What about 30 day refund policy. I will go for warranty if it failed after a reasonable time period and not when it was showing signs of problems from the very beginning. It was getting heated up and freezing at times. Thought could be some software issues at first. She said "I understand your concern and case will be forwarded to a team resolving such cases but they will be at office at 11.30 only" More than a week has gone by and no response from such a team yet.
*I realized the tablet was from a lot that was defective and manipulated.** Once after it crashed showing a scrambled screen, the wall paper was automatchandru021y reset to the default one upon next boot. I was shocked to see the wallpaper and immediately screen captured it **(attached).** Obvisouly this is from a lot specifchandru021y preapred to be gifted to school students by some MP. Wallpaper is embedded in the OS. From a government scheme! The infibeam folks put custom wallpaper of the defective ones and was selling these to the public. ISNT THAT LIKE SELLING RATION ITEMS IN PUBLIC MARKET. A CRIME?
Infibeam didnt spare even a first time buyer like me. Price dropped within a few hours after I ordered. Wouldnt have cared if they had shipped in a reasonable time period. But Had to call customer support countless times to sort this out. But no refund. you have to buy something else from them for the price difference! There is no way to get your money back once you order. **There is no option to cancel order under any circumstances on their site.** Even if they cannot deliver! Infibeam will dictate terms once your order is through.
On last day for shipment they informed me that they needed an alternative address as my PIN is not serviced. Then why they boast of "delivery anywhere in India"? And if my PIN is not serviceable why such things are not checked automatchandru021y when the order is being placed? At least informed me soon after I ordered. I said "OK fine, please refund" feeling relieved. The people at the other end said not possible. Then I asked what if an alternative address is not provided. The answer was they will wait endlessly and no refund. Since I had already paid and they were not refunding I had to yield. I had no other option to be frank.

After I joined MouthShut_Official infibeam contaced me through MouthShut_Official personal message. I provided order ID but no response. I dont expect any favor from them.
I JUST LOST MY MONEY TRUSTING INFIBEAM. NOT JUST CHEATING A CONSUMER BUT ALSO ILL-TREATING through horrible customer support. All of you reading this please think twice before dealing with them. And still if you **shop with a smile, ** you will repent after a while.

Immediately after posting this review, Team Lead of Infibeam Customer Support(he claims so) phoned me offering to solve this. Its another trick I know.
*At least their response here is a proof admitting their poor customer support and low business ethics.*
*WHAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS THIS?** THEY ARE SO UNIQUE IN THEIR ONLINE HI-TECH CHEATING BUSINESS. NOT AT ALL AN ORGANISED GROUP BUT PRETENDS SO. BOASTS OF MANY DEPARTMENTS TEAMS, escalating, forwarding, tracking following up BUT any solution to actual customer issue. No not at all.
When asked why respond now after the post on MouthShut_Official he had no clear answer. Also admitted that his job is to read MouthShut_Official reviews. **ROFL** I had earlier asked their call centre Madam if I could talk to anyone higher in hierarchy. Her answer was. you know "No sir we have only this phone number and email". Now after MouthShut_Official review from where did this guy appear? Why did he appear? quite dubious. And he cant take decisions too on his own. He will too escalate soon to next call centre colleague sitting next to him.
I was shocked by the number of frauds that they keep on doing. Thought of compiling ones I found here for quick access to all.

As expected Team Lead phoned again saying he is communicating with various departments hehe. Creating a sense that something is going on. Also mentioned tomorrow is Holi holiday so to add that to his timeframe of 48 hours to resolve. Yesterday only 48 hours was needed. Then I asked to resolve it today itself why wait for holidays?
So he called again in minutes and as I expected his solution was reverse pickup the item investigate it, communicate with manufacturer repair or replace. Many other members had tipped this was going to happen so I was not surprised. My suggestion was to send new item and collect defective one through courier partner during reverse pickup or better refund. As we all know not possible. My paisa lost is lost.
They trust manufacturers word, suppliers word, courier partners word and **NOT THEIR CUSTOMERS WORD** Not surprising. I have been hit with a beam called infibeam.
FYI guys the Infibeam customer team lead is available on MouthShut_Official to complicate the issues further.
As others informed me if I am to agree to their one-sided solution, I have to wait and wait until they send me another defective item and repeat the whole process till the warranty period is over. Smart guys
As you all know they dont stick even to order delivery schedule. talk about reverse pickup, investigation and return schedule.
I will loose my favorite paper-weight too.
So my suggestion to all buyers is to **AVOID SHOPPING FROM THIS SITE ALTOGETHER** or be in my position and repent forever. Even you start suspecting genuine sites due to this bunch of idiots.
