Never Ever Infibeam..Cheaters All The Way

My Personal experience:


Avoid infibeam absolutely, learnt a lesson.


Even after reading all the worst reviews, I placed an order in infibeam. My bad and I suffered big time.


I had ordered a Toshiba C850 laptop (order no: 11501769) on 14th of August. Days passed and each day when I track the order on infibeam, it says "Shipping in Progress".


Website mentions:


Shipping date: Aug. 17


Delivery date: Aug. 21


Fed up of this, decided to call customer care on Aug 19th.


One stupid girl picked up the phone and attended as if for the first time a customer is calling and registering a complaint. Complaint registered (no: 85247) as she didn’t have ANY STATUS on product even after 6 days the payment received from customer.


She promised that I will get the complaint resolved max. Within 48hrs (2days). I didn’t get any call for 1 day, this time I had a feeling that I will never get my product from Infibeam.


2nd call to customer care on Aug 20th:


One lady Khadija picked up and she apologized for the delay for shipping and they are doing their best to deliver the product as promised on Aug. 22nd itself! I was damn sure that I’m not going to get the product delivered on 22nd, as only 1 day left.


When asked about the complaint raised, she told me that she has escalated my complaint to the customer support team (thank God, I’m "relieved" :)) and I will surely get a call in next 24 hrs (1 day). If I’m not getting any clarification/information about shipping by 24hrs, I told that I will cancel the order.


Aug 2st: 3rd day:


No call, no communication as I guessed. I knew that this only is going to happen. decided to cancel the order and again called Customer care. A guy named Rohan picked up (after keeping me in the queue for 10 mins) and again apologized to me!


He updated me finally the status: there is NO STOCK AVAILABLE !!!! - on the 9th day of order!! Hats off to Infibeam! Then I got really upset as I was cheated by infibeam and for such a sheer waste of time and money.


Asked a simple question to that gentle man : "why are you accepting the order even after you are aware that you don’t have sufficient stock?


He answered me that usually they will check for stocks once the customer raises a complaint! I had no answer and proceeded for cancellation. Again 24 hrs I need to wait to get the cancellation approved mail to reach my inbox! I can understand this also: - mail has to travel a long way from infibeam H.O in Mumbai to my place - a long way to go - poor email :)


Hopefully I will get my money refunded - sitting fingers crossed. Definitely I will never deal with infibeam again - even if some 100% discount ongoing or they are giving some money also with the product.


Now also my tracking status says: "Shipping in Progress!"

My humble advice to all looking to deal with infibeam: If you want to try your luck, go pick a lottery ticket!
