I ordered a God of War 3 DVD for the birthday of my brother which is on 16th of July on 5th of July. I stay in Finland and I ordered it online only to realize it was the biggest mistake of my life. It was meant to ship by the 9th of July but it didnt. I wrote 3 separate mails to the Customer care but no reply within 24 hours. Finally I made an ISD call from Finland only to be made to wait for several minutes. When I was attended, I was told that the product is out of stock and the only piece they had was damaged. Hearing this I asked to cancel my order as they asked me to wait 2 weeks for delivery (well past the birthday of my brother). I was told by the CC executive - Fine, We will cancel the order. When I asked for confirmation of request, I was told that the call is recorder and hence on call request is also an official request of cancellation.
Just to be sure I also wrote a mail requesting a cancellation. One day later I got a reply saying - We will ship it by 14th of July for sure. I replied clearly stating - No, I want the product cancelled as I cant wait and I was duped into ordering even when the product is out of stock. The reply was again the same - We will ship it by 14th of July. Can they not read English??
Frustrated, I again made an ISD call on the 11th of July asking the status of my cancellation request. The CC girl told me again to be patient as it will certainly be shipped by 14th. I thought in that case it will reach only a couple of days later than the bday so I agreed. To my surprise, on 13th again I got a CS mail saying there is a problem and I must be patient as they are solving the problem. I replied saying - If the product is not in stock, and you cant even ship by 14, then what is the problem in cancelling it. No reply so far. Also the product has not been shipped nor cancelled.
I dont want to even call CC now as another call and my call cost will be equal to my order cost. SO basically the fraud that Infibeam is, robbed me of 1507 rupees, made me spend another 600 - 700 or so on calls as they dont promptly reply to mail. Neither did the cancel my order and nor did they ship it. That should tell you about the company.
I am preparing an official complain letter against the company and will be forwarding the letter to Ministry of Commerce. Also, I will defame the site at as many places as possible so at least few who read, stay away from the site.

Yet another standard mail saying they have forwarded the complaint to concerned department. Even though my mail clearly said CANCEL THE GOD DAMN ORDER
