Don't ever buy from infibeam! Just Never!

Guys and girls,


I am warning you thousand times not to buy from infibeam.com


The customer care number is not toll free and charge like double when you call them, and wait in the queue each time and once they pick up the call, in case they tell you that "they are putting you on hold to check the info", after sometimes the call gets disconnected automatically.


replacement warranty: It is not 1 month. Read the policy very very carefully. It is of 3 days from the purchase. And the infibeam has full rights to make you wait for 1 month to ship the replacement or refund.( Never happened within 1 month for me ever)


For replacement, they will first send your product to QC team(quality checking team), once the QC Done, they will send your defective product to the service center.


Ok, now, here is my sad story:


You will sometimes find that the product may be of little lower price tag than the flipkart.com or some other websites. And finally you will end up buying some costly or mid ranged product. If the product is good, it’s ok.


But, in case the product is somehow not working, or it’s a product with manufacturing defect, you are done.


I did the same mistake 7 times and end up crying 3 times.


Return process:


(Call to customer service team within first 3 days after you got the defective product > technical team > reverse pickup > qc team > qc not done > qc done > service center > either repair or in worst case, replacement > call you back from technical team > still needs to intiate reship > reship > you get the new product/repaired product).


1) camera stand: I got the replacement after 1.5 months. I nearly lost my hope. Called customer care support nearly everyday. Those dumbos took 1.5 months to replace it. And after calling them for around 30 times, 15 minutes each, I spent 450 minutes talktime of my mobile. that is nearly equal to 450/- bucks.


2) Adcom A430 mobile: the mobile had sound problem. I called customer care, and then they told me that I have crossed the first three days of their replacement policy, so they can not do anything, finally after a long long fight, they arranged the reverse pickup of the return. They took one and half week to arrange the pickup. Then, I knew I was in the hell for at least one and half month, finally they told me the mobile is out of stock now and they will return me my money and they will credit back to the infibeam account. They did it after another one week.(customer service team > technical team > reverse pickup > qc team > qc not done > qc done > service center > either repair or in worst case, replacement > call you back from technical team > still needs to intiate reship > reship > you get the product)


3) Gionee dream d1: Finally, I had buy a mobile with my available credit balance. I bought this mobile. And damn, the day I bought the mobile, next day they decreased the cost 1600/- bucks. I was sad. And I paid the rest amount via debit card. After one week, they called me to provide my back account details, id card proof to show that it’s my account, after I provided that, they called me after another one week to say me they will soon process my request. They did process my request but after 1 week more. I got the mobile, and damn, bloody hell, the auto rotation was not working, I called immediately the customer care. Till today it’s nearly 15+ days, I called them around 10 times, they told me they have sent my mobile to the service center to fix it.:( I am shocked, I dont know how to respond. TIll I am waiting eagerly to get my replacement.
