Do not get fooled by "30 day replacement policy"

Just wanted to share a bitter experience of mine byt shopping on the infibeam.com protal. They are selling faulty mobile handsets at a lower proce in the name of giving huge discounts! I bought a motorola charm handset from them on 27th April. When I made the payments, their website was showing the product is in stock and will be delivered in 2-4 days. But, amuzingly, the next day the site started showing it is outof stock and I got called from infibeam that the delivery would be lated by 3-4 days as they are out of stock! Then after lot of follow ups, they finally delivered the handset on 5th May. But wait.


The dilemma is not yet over. The handset that they sent is a faulty one, does not respond to touch at times and mostly when there is an incoming call! When informing about this issue and asking for a replacement( as per their 30 days replacement policy) , they made me wait for 5 days saying they are taking this issue with the concerned department and finally came up with the resolution that I have to take it to a motrola service center!


They are cheating people by saying that they would replace any defective goods if reported within 30 days of delivery, but in practice they are just showing you doors as you have already made the payments.
