Following the cult I was looking for an earphone namely klipsch s4aii and this is the first time I came across infibeam.com.All looked ok and I could find the product I was looking for where it was mentioned that the product is in stock and would be delivered within 4 days. After 4 days I got call asking for order confirmation for which I said yes, which entails that the product would be in my hands soon.After another 3 days after the call confirmation I get a mail saying the product is not in stock and the order got automatically cancelled.
They didnt have the courtesy to ask whether or not you want the product to be available again. This was my very first experience and I could not help myself but not to trust infibeam again. Then again first mistakes should be forgotten so I did and thought of trying my hands once again. So I ordered an iphone 5 earphones which again was on stock as they claimed and would be delivered within 4 days.
So I placed the order, first 4 days was a false claim it turned to be 7 days.I waited and there was no update on the track progress of the shipment link on their website till the 7th day. So I called on the the day of shipment and the response what I got this time was no different.The items is out of stock currently is what they told so I ask why do you mention the item in stock on your website in the first place, the diplomatic reply sorry about that sir, this could take another 2-3 days for the next update.
Could I wait for another 3 days just for the next update, definitely no so this time I dint waited for them to cancel the order, I did it on my own.What else would anyone else do.This is my experience what I have drawn from using infibeam and I would in not in my good conscience recommend infibeam to any of my acquaintances and myself is a definite no even if the alleged quoted price might be least compared to other retailing portals.
This is industry is all about gaining customer confidence and good will and this is not what a customer should be getting by trusting the etailers. I wont be holding any grudges but please for the business sake be true to the information you provide on your portals.
